Renting Charges per day:

The rates are 150 euros per day for up to five guests. Additional guests are 30 euros and Kids are free! This site is for those who wish to give their kids a good time and relax while on holiday.

I am not interested in making a lot of money but do wish that many do enjoy my place and have respect for the service I provide.

The "Book now" link has no function. Only bookings which are made via an email to BEKK@tutanota.com and will be confirmed by email are valid. 

I will send you my Paypal details for payment and also a security notice in which I ask the person who books to sign, confirming that they alone take all responsibility for any mishaps on the river.

Some people go wild and do silly things and to avoid being responsible for irresponsible behaviour this security agreement is necessary.

This way I avoid the nonsense that WIX get up to pretending that they offer a service when in fact they are just making it so complicated that I end up using their additional 'services' which I am charged for.

Under the Mill, the Isle River is home to Moscowy ducks and other wild animals who come here because of the environmentally clean and pristine surroundings.

A vast array of butterflies, dragonflies, rare birds and other unusual creatures can be seen in this natural habitat where when you are patient, you can watch them live their lives in peace and quiet!

For those who have an understanding of geology, the chance to be able to touch volcanic rocks which have been exposed to the elements for no less than 650 million years, will be a thrill. The smooth surface worn over this enormous timescale will be appreciated by those who just wish to enjoy the feel of this cool granite on the edge of the "Cool Pool" below the entrance bridge to the gardens. Le Torte Sabat (stream) flows under this bridge and is A1 quality water.

When Dad wants to fish, he can do so without taking the car, a short walk across the bridge to the private island and into the river L'Isle and he can catch as many fish as he wants. All at your doorstep. One Guest told of how he didn't leave the armchair and was told that the eel on the line was pulling hard and so for breakfast he said it was a once in a lifetime thrill. He didn't even need to take off his slippers!

Just six kilometres west of Le Moulin de Madame, Thiviers is a popular market town with five large supermarkets and on Saturdays a local market where visitors from Paris come to indulge in the local cullinary delights, from fish, to meats, wines and the most expensive delight for the French - truffles.

There is competition for the abundance of fish in the river, besides other locals who occasionally appear, a heron can also be seen when you stay still. If you make the slightest movement they will lift their huge wings and be off.

The amount of historical buildings, castles and mansions make the Dordogne a very popular area known world wide for its cultural attractions. Just a tiny view of the unusual accommodation which has been built here over the centuries.

An afternoon spent on horseback can be one way to spend your time here, just book well in advance and you will be happy.
